Registry instructions

Frequently asked questions

Procedural notes for the watermarked demonstration registry.

01Is this an operating maritime authority?+

No. This is a fictional, watermarked software demonstration. It does not issue valid transit clearance, represent a government, or accept real fees.

02How is an application lodged?+

Select Apply for Clearance and complete the four steps: vessel identification, voyage details, contact and optional documents, then review and lodgement. A registry reference is generated after submission.

03How is the IMO number checked?+

The final digit of a seven-digit IMO number is a check digit. The registry weights the first six digits from seven to two, sums the products and compares the units digit of that sum with the final digit.

04How is the Transit Clearance Fee calculated?+

Declared DWT determines the tier. Expedited processing adds the published charge. A qualifying fleet lodgement of three vessels or more receives the published 10% reduction against the combined charges. The quotation shows every line.

05Are supporting documents mandatory?+

No. Registration, cargo manifest, crew list and proof of ownership may be attached as PDF, JPG or PNG files. Missing or unavailable document storage does not block an application.

06How long does a certificate remain valid?+

A demonstration Transit Clearance Certificate records a validity period of 72 hours from issue. The verification page reports VALID, EXPIRED, REVOKED or NOT FOUND against the demonstration registry.

07Should I transfer cryptocurrency?+

Never. The payment area contains inert demonstration strings rather than wallet addresses. It accepts only fabricated transaction references beginning with DEMO-. No real payment integration is enabled.

08What does the QR code contain?+

The QR code contains the public verification URL for the certificate number. It does not contain vessel documents, contact particulars or payment credentials.
